You should be able to identify a hip bone, also called the os coxae. Two hip bones (or ossa coxae [pleural of os coxae]) contribute to the formation of the pelvic girdle. Appreciate the position of the hip bone in vivo. Tap on the left hip bone in the anterior image and it will appear shaded red.
