Distal to the ankle, the surface of the foot that corresponds to the bottom of your foot is the plantar surface (think about "planting" your foot). The surface of the top of your foot is referred to as the DORSUM. In the lateral image below tap in the letter A or B, that corresponds to the plantar surface of the foot.
