The distal, anterior aspect of the humerus contains two grooves separated by a prominent ridge. The trochlea of the humerus is the groove medial to the ridge. The trochlea continues around the distal end of the bone and is also observed on the posterior surface of the distal humerus. Tap where you would predict to find this structure IN THE ANTERIOR SURFACE IMAGE BELOW, and it will appear shaded red IN BOTH IMAGES.
