Active Lesson Ed Tech LLC Terms and Conditions

You must complete Active Lesson Ed Tech's registration process to subscribe to and use your course by providing us with current, complete, and accurate information as prompted by the registration form. Your username will be your email and you will create a password, and your username. Please use your school email. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account and responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify Active Lesson Ed Tech immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other security breach. Active Lesson Ed Tech will not be liable for any loss you may incur due to someone else using your password or account, either with or without your knowledge.
Active Lesson Ed Tech will direct you to FastSpring to process payment.
Within 30 days of your purchase, you have the right to request a refund if you drop your course or need to withdraw for any reason. Refunds require prior approval from Active Lesson Ed Tech. To initiate a return, please get in touch with Active Lesson Ed Tech at support@activelessonedtech.com. You will receive a response email letting you know your refund is being processed. We will reimburse you using the same payment method you used for the initial transaction.
You will lose access to any completed work if you cancel your subscription before your course ends or a fraudulent purchase is claimed. If you repurchase a course and want access to completed work, you will be charged a $35.00 reactivation fee.
By subscribing to Active Lesson Ed Tech LLC or visiting the Active Lesson Ed Tech Website activelessonedtech.com., you agree to the following terms and conditions of use. Active Lesson Ed Tech and activelessonedtech.com shall be referred to, collectively, herein as the "ALET." This is a contract (the "Agreement") in electronic form between you ("you," "your," and "yourself") and ALET and its officers, successors, subsidiaries, and affiliates ("Active Lesson Ed Tech" "we," "us," and "our").
To become an Active Lesson Ed Tech subscriber, you must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and complete the registration process by providing us with complete and accurate information, as requested in our online registration form. After fully completing the registration form, you will choose a password. The combination of the email address and password you enter at registration form a unique identifier for your account. It is your responsibility to maintain the confidentiality of your password and account. You are entirely responsible for any and all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any loss you may incur due to someone else using your password or account, either with or without your knowledge.
In connection with the ALET platform, you agree that ALET has the right to send emails to the email address we have on file for your membership account, and you consent to receive these emails.
ALET may change its terms and conditions from time to time. It is important to regularly review these terms and conditions to stay informed about changes to the terms and conditions governing your use of ALET. Your continued subscription to ALET and use of activelessonedtech.com constitutes your agreement to all such terms and conditions.
ALET is for your personal and non-commercial use only. Without our prior written consent, you may not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer, or sell any information, software, or products obtained from ALET.
activelessonedtech.com may contain links to third-party websites. These linked sites are not under the control of Active Lesson Ed Tech LLC, and we are not liable for their contents.
As a condition of using ALET, you will not use Active Lesson for any unlawful or prohibited purpose by these terms, conditions, and notices. You may not use ALET in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair any website or interfere with any other party's use and enjoyment of activelessonedtech.com. You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to ALET, any related website, other accounts, computer systems, or networks connected to ALET through hacking, password mining, or any other means. You may not obtain or attempt to obtain any materials or information through any means not intentionally made available through Active Lesson. Your access to ALET may be terminated immediately, with or without notice from ALET, if you fail to comply with any provisions of these terms and conditions.
All software made available to view and/or download in connection with ALET ("Software") is owned or controlled by ALET and/or its licensors, affiliates, and suppliers and is protected by copyright laws and international treaty provisions. Your use of the Software is governed by the terms of the end user license agreement, if any, which accompanies or is included with the Software. ALET accepts no responsibility or liability in connection with any Software owned or controlled by third parties.
ALET AND/OR ITS RESPECTIVE LICENSORS, AFFILIATES, AND SUPPLIERS MAKE NO REPRESENTATIONS ABOUT THE SUITABILITY, RELIABILITY, AVAILABILITY, TIMELINESS, LACK OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS AND ACCURACY OF THE INFORMATION, SOFTWARE, PRODUCTS, SERVICES AND RELATED GRAPHICS CONTAINED WITHIN THE MATERIALS FOR ANY PURPOSE. ALL SUCH INFORMATION, SOFTWARE, PRODUCTS, SERVICES AND RELATED GRAPHICS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. ALET AND/OR ITS RESPECTIVE LICENSORS, AFFILIATES, AND SUPPLIERS HEREBY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS CONCERNING THIS INFORMATION, SOFTWARE, PRODUCTS, SERVICES, AND RELATED GRAPHICS, INCLUDING ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, WORKMANLIKE EFFORT, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES, SO THE ABOVE EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
YOU SPECIFICALLY AGREE THAT ALET SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR ALTERATION OR INTERCEPTION OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION/DATA, TRANSMISSIONS OR OTHER DATA, ANY MATERIAL OR DATA SENT OR RECEIVED OR NOT SENT OR RECEIVED, OR ANY TRANSACTIONS ENTERED INTO THROUGH ACTIVELESSONEDTECH.COM. YOU SPECIFICALLY AGREE THAT ALET IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY CONTENT SENT USING AND/OR INCLUDED IN ACTIVE LESSON BY ANY THIRD PARTY. YOU FURTHER AGREE THAT ALET AND/OR ITS RESPECTIVE LICENSORS, AFFILIATES, AND SUPPLIERS MAY MAKE IMPROVEMENTS AND/OR CHANGES TO THE MATERIALS AND/OR MAY DISCONTINUE ANY PART OF THE MATERIALS AT ANY TIME.
IN NO EVENT SHALL ALET AND/OR ITS RESPECTIVE LICENSORS, AFFILIATES, AND SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR ALTERATION OR INTERCEPTION OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION/DATA, TRANSMISSIONS OR OTHER DATA, LOSS OF USE, DATA OR PROFITS, ARISING OUT OF OR IN ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH THE USE OR PERFORMANCE OF ALET, OR FOR ANY INFORMATION, SOFTWARE, PRODUCTS, SERVICES AND RELATED GRAPHICS OBTAINED THROUGH THE MATERIALS, OR OTHERWISE ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF THE MATERIALS, WHETHER BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF ALET OR ANY OF ITS SUPPLIERS HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF DAMAGES. BECAUSE SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. IF THIS LIMITATION OF LIABILITY OR THE EXCLUSION OF WARRANTY SET FORTH ABOVE IS HELD INAPPLICABLE OR UNFORCEABLE FOR ANY REASON, THEN ALET'S MAXIMUM LIABILITY FOR ANY DAMAGES SHALL BE LIMITED TO YOUR MEMBERSHIP FEE. IF YOU ARE DISSATISFIED WITH ANY PORTION OF ALET OR WITH ANY OF THESE TERMS OF USE, YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY IS TO DISCONTINUE USING ACTIVE LESSON AND UNSUBSCRIBE FROM ANY APPLICABLE SERVICE.

Subscription fees require prior authorization from ALET. Please email support@activelessonedtech.com within 30 days of purchase to request pre-authorization. Once a return is processed, any completed work will be inaccessible.
ALET reserves the right to terminate your access to the Materials or any portion thereof for any reason, at any time, without notice.
